Actress Nicole Kidman who raises alpacas on her farm in Nashville has revealed she would love to extend her exotic pet collection to include snakes.
‘I want to get some more weird animals eventually, I’d love to get snakes, I love them. They might not be a good idea around the baby though,’ contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
Australian-born Nicole admitted she is fascinated by unusual pets and loves the llama-like alpacas because they are ‘so pretty’.
‘We have alpacas on our farm because they’re so pretty. They have lovely long lashes. I think they’re really cool. I always wanted a mix of weird animals but that’s the weirdest we have.’

Nicole Kidman refuses to roast a turkey this Christmas and is getting a ready-cooked one instead.
The Australian actress has had enough of spending hours slaving away over a hot stove on Christmas Day, and would prefer to use that time to do other things, like opening presents and exchanging gifts with her family.
However the 43-year-old mother-of-three has promised to turn her culinary talents to making a festive fruitcake for her brood to enjoy instead.
“Nor am I cooking. This holiday, I’ll get an already-cooked turkey. Then I’ll make an Australian fruitcake,” the actress told Cindy Adams of the New York Post.

When we heard Nicole Kidman was back on the promo circuit for new flick, ‘Rabbit Hole’, Grazia HQ began placing bets on what delights she’d pull from her dressing-up box. After being treated to endless L’Wren Scott numbers on her transatlantic tour for ‘Australia’, would the yummy mummy be treading the same lines or impressing us with something a little different?
At the film’s premiere in New York City on Friday night, we got our answer. And guess what? This blue beauty is from none other than British design duo, Clements Ribeiro. Doesn’t the sleek silhouette make Nicole look superbly lady-like? From the sophisticated lace sleeves to the below-knee hemline, the overall effect is sheer elegance avec a kitsch twist, especially with those embellishments adding a touch of twinkle. Basically, we adore.
It was during London Fashion Week in September that we first gawped at the dress gliding down the catwalk. The S/S ‘11 show was a triumphant return for Inacio Ribeiro and Suzanne Clements, the husband and wife team whose last show was five years ago. Their luxury cashmere and charming prints were welcomed back with open arms, unsurprisingly considering their huge success since forming in the Nineties.
After meeting at Central Saint Martins, the pair have collaborated with some of the best in the business, including shoe designers Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin. In 2000, they took over as creative directors of Cacharel, Paris and during their seven years at the French house, Inacio and Suzanne turned their hand to all aspects of designing, including accessories and childrenswear. And this is exactly why Grazia Daily is firm fans of the design duo today, and evidently a certain Ms Kidman is too…

Mr Urban was hoping, however, that he might get another chance to catch up with his “gorgeous” niece, Sunday Rose, some time during the famous couple’s visit.
“My parents were over there (recently) and I saw some fantastic photos of my niece,” he said.
