Name: Lea Age: 18 Location: Germany Email Address:nistl.lea@web.de Favourite Nicole film: That’s hard. I love every film of her, especially The Interpreter, The Others and Moulin Rouge
001When Did You First Become A Fan of Nicole?
Actually I don’t really know. Suddenly she came into my live, without any omen. I always knew her as an actress,
but if I consider about it I think it was in 2003. Surprisedly there was this wonderful woman I was inspired from
and I was interested in. It wasn’t any film I saw with her, where I was absolutely smitten with. She was there and
she became heroine. But what I know is, that when I found out that she had received and Oscar in this year I was
angry about, that I hadn’t watched it, till today (Okay I saw her speech in the internet, but that’s not the same)
002What is it about Nicole that you really love/admire?
Just Everything. I love her character. I love that she is still down to earth. Always, when reporters or journalists
ask her if she is sure in what she does and if she really knows, that she is “that” famous and beautiful, she answers
“oh I don’t know. Maybe…” And I think if you are unsure in what you do, you’ll always get better and better, and you
won’t take of and get over the top. Nicole is pure and simple and just normal. She doesn’t really know that she is a
living Hollywood legend like Marilyn Monroe or Marlene Dietrich. And she doesn’t know that she is so absolutely
beautiful and graceful (her name could be grace too). And she doesn’t want to be perfect like the other actresses
in Hollywood, and she says that. She should were glasses, but she doesn’t. She thinks, she is too tall and has too
small boobs and behind. But she accepts it, loves her body and doesn’t do plastic operations, like other Hollywood
actresses do, to be on the top. She is a great person, a beauty, a wonderful mother and wife, a good friend. She is
really strong and brave. She realises her dreams. She does that what she really wants and has a great opinion of
things. She is really strong with her parents (like me). I love her sense of clothes. She is Nicole. I love
everything. I can’t really describe it. She is magic and bewitching and totally funny, but still normal.
003Has she affected your life in any way?
Oh yes. Absolutely. Through her I know what I want to become (an interpreter, like in the movie lol). I think I
changed through her positively I am happier and I think more positive. And I understand the english language better
and Ican express myself better in this language. I can’t imagine a live without her. I absolutely admire her.
Nicole will be my idol forever. simply and safely.
004What would you like to see Nic do in the future?
She should become everything she wants. An own child, a wonderful live with Keith, and more Oscars.
She should not stop acting (I would love it, if she does it like Katherine Hepburn, to act till she is old).
She should be even more join in charity work. She should do just that what she wants.
005If you could say one thing to Nicole, or do one thing for her, what would it be?
I would tell her what she means to me and what she “did” for me. Maybe I would donate some money (if I had some) for
Unifem or any other charity work she does. And I would tell her how beautiful she and her eyes are (I love her
beautiful blue eyes lol) and how much I would love it to be one of her friends.
006Why should you be fan of the month?
I don’t know. Maybe I am just one of million fans of her, and every other fan would deserve to be fan of the month.
I would just be glad. And I could show how famous and admirable Nicole is.

Trivia: Nicole's good friend Renee Zellweger was considered for the role of Satine. Obviously she didn't get the role, but she did star in another musical - Chicago - a year later, and was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in that film. Nicole won the Oscar that year for The Hours.
