Archiving forum contents

Postby Jess » Sun Jul 20, 2008 10:44 pm

Whilst browsing the Photos and News forums recently I've noticed how many pages there are in each of them ... making it pretty hard to go back through each of those forums to search for specific stuff. Now we have the ability to have subforums here I'm thinking it might be a good idea to 'archive' older posts, ie having subforums in each of these two forums for 2005, 2006 etc. content.

While I'm not a fan of having too many subforums and sub-sub forums etc. because it can get confusing, I think it may be more organised this way ... What do you think?

Yeah, same here.

I think that is a very good idea.
That makes everything more clear and even more structured.

A sub forum is a mini, additional forum thats connected to a larger forum.

In my opinion it sounds too confusing. People like me, who are dumb with computers, would get lost. Could you delete the comments and stuff but keep the news and photos?
