I'm sorry to bother you but I have no idea how to get an avater under my name
I read that you have to write down the URL from the avater,does that mean the adress from the avater I want to have or can I just use avaters from this gallery?

And can I make my own one?(actually an nesaccery question because I have no clue how to make one and can somebody help me there? )

Allright enough with these for you surely stupid questions,lol!

Hello Hannah!!!

Well, to use an avatar u have to submit the avatar you want (on your computer, choose one from the gallery) and then post in sites like photobucket.com, copy the link and paste the URL on your profile.

Of course you can make your own avatar. You have to use image editors like photoshop for example. You have to have creativity for that lol. I don't have it, i have any talent for that lol. We also have here, in the "media" section, topics where people post their work like avatars, sigs and wallpapers. People here are very friendly so i don't think it would be a problem if u use some avatars from there.

you can also use this site to upload your avatar and signature (when you have them on your computer)

Just go on "Durchsuchen" - choose the avatar or signature (the picture below your text - mine is "screen goddess") you want.

mark "resize image?" and then optimize without resizing - then "host it".

When it is uploaded you choose "Hotlink for forums (1)" - for your avatar

and "Direct link to image" for your signature.

You put the URL in your profile and submit. Then it should work.

The avatar should have a resolution of 100x100 pixels and the signatures 500x150 pixels.

Oh.oh now I can't upload a signature

Do I have to post the URL in the space for the signature text?

you get the URL and put image tags around it so it would look like

[IMG ]url[/IMG ]

but without the spaces. then u put that in the text area for your signature.
