Problems with the PM system

It seems there is a problem with PM-ing, in that some people can't send or receive PMs. And also that you receive an email notification that you've received a PM, but when you check to see it here, it's not there.

Does anyone know if this is happening to them (besides white_velveteen)?

white_velveteen so far this seems to only be a problem for you. I know I sent you a PM a few months back about Rome Film Festival videos (I think?) and I don't think you got it. I also replied to your PM yesterday about this problem, and on the other thread you said you had not received a reply yet.

I have no idea what's causing this, but I'll check your settings ...

yeah, i had offered you to send you some screencaps from the rome press conference as i thought they had a quite good quality and no, i haven't received your pms . i could still make and send the screencaps if you want me to, just let me know, but it's probably better to send me an e-mail .

would be cool if you could find out what exactly caused this error. not only the e-mail notification thing but also why it tells me that no such user exists when i want to write to greta... i mean, as i said, with this i could imagine it's the "tm" behind her name as it's replaced by numbers in the pm window, but i'm not sure ...

One thing I thought about - make sure your inbox's aren't full!! That probably won't solve the problem, but it's a start

what error do you get exactly? i just PM-d Lex (Greta B) and it gave me an error saying Invalid Session... but I clicked submit/send again and it worked...

I'm changing lex's username now, so maybe that will help...?!?!

I get that sometimes too, but if I hit back and then hit submit again, it goes through.

Not for me
Sometimes I have to do that like 7 times
other times it goes right through
and then still there are times where I even close Nicoles Magic log back in try again and it still doesnt work

RE the original problem - make sure you don't delete the PMs in your OUTBOX as PMs in there have not yet been read by the recipient, therefore deleting them will mean they are just gone.
