Jess, I wonder if it would probably be a lot more inviting if this is actually a sub forum instead of a thread where pictures are just posted and labelled by date. Someone can start a thread for the day. It is the same thing but just neater. I am a big fan of pictures, I spend an eternity looking through the gallery EVERY DAY but I find picture threads like the PotD one too messy and the thumbnail posting is not that inviting, it loses the WOW effect for some reason. Just a thought .

I agree with the thumbnail thing, sometimes you can barely see the thing amongst banners and text I had thought about making it a subforum but decided it was a bit unnecessary ... I think it might be worth a try now though

I kind of like it as just a thread. I feel like if each day is a different thread it'll just be thread after thread of pics with "thanks" or "pretty" as replies. Maybe we could have a poll to see how many people would like a subforum vs thread better.

I think the 14 day rule should probably go then possibly more people will post in it.

24 hour rule for a picture of the day?! that doesn't work lol. Because if you post a picture and can't post another for 24 hours that will still allow you to post one picture a day.

Maybe I'll reduce it to 7 day.

lol I meant like a 1 day between posts rule lol. so like, you can't post them 2 days in a row lol. Hopefully 7 days will help .
