Here’s another fabulous rare old magazine scan treat for you, courtesy of one of our BFF’s April! I have uploaded scans from the February 4th 1992 issue of Australian Woman’s Day magazine. Don’t be fooled by the tabloid headline for her on the cover – in the interview inside she mainly talks about several interesting career topics, including getting roles because of hard-work and not who she was married to, and working with shorter actors (yes, really!). The spread was to promote the release of Billy Bathgate, so there is a bit about that film, including a quote from director Robert Benton about meeting and casting her. Close friend Deborra Lee Furness also talks about Nicole. There is an interesting mention of Scientology, revealing something I wasn’t aware of …
