The Australian Woman’s Weekly (Aus) – October 1989

On our Twitter page I promised some rare old treats for you, and here is the first one! I have uploaded scans from the October 1989 issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly, on which Nicole graced the cover of, and gave an interview to. The interview mentions all her projects from around that time, including Bangkok Hilton, Dead Calm and Flirting and gives an interesting insight into her thoughts on her career at the time. It’s interesting to note her goals at the time – working with Woody Allen and performing Chekhov in Russian – one of which we know she’s since had the chance the do, the other of which she has mentioned several times over the years. This is a fantastic treat, and my eyes lit up when I saw it! The scans come courtesy of our other Aussie queen, April.

Please be nice – don’t repost these scans elsewhere. They are very old and rare, and were kindly made just for Nicole’s Magic!

  2. I knew you’d love these Nicoleta!! :) It’s a really great interview, and a wonderful insight into her thoughts and plans before her career in Hollywood really kicked off – something which I have been wanting to read, as well. Thanks for commenting (and enjoy the new old scans just added today as well ;-) )
