"Mrs Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself..."

Nicole is attending the Emmy Awards tonight in Hollywood, where she is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie for Hemingway & Gellhorn. Nicole is wearing a stunning white with blue embroidery Antonio Berardi dress – a very ocean/mermaid inspired look! Speaking to E! on the red carpet, she said she is currently filming the Grace Kelly biopic in France, but she will be joining Keith and hanging out backstage during his new role as a judge on American Idol in the new year.
Here are the first photos of the event, and I’ll add a full set into our Gallery over the coming week.
A preview of the first trailer for Nicole’s upcoming thriller/horror movie Stoker premiered on Entertainment Tonight earlier this week (Sept 19th or 20th)! It co-stars Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode, and looks pretty creepy if you ask me!
Apparently the full, official trailer will be premiered this coming week.
Long before Kevin Costner, Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks and Nicole Kidman were Emmy nominees, they were kids who loved watching TV.
Kidman, a first-time Emmy nominee for her lead role in the TV movie “Hemingway & Gellhorn,” said she was raised on “The Brady Bunch” and “Bewitched.”
“Growing up in Australia, the miniseries was such a big, big thing. It was something that launched my career because I did miniseries in Australia,” she said. “I did a thing called ‘Bangkok Hilton’ and one called ‘Vietnam,’ which was on the Vietnam War in the ’60s and was a hugely rated show. That was my big break, really, as an actor.”
SHE was 23 when she won a Silver Logie for her role in Bangkok Hilton. Now, two husbands, four children and an Oscar later, Nicole Kidman has reached the heights of the US television industry.
Kidman is nominated for an Emmy award for her role in Hemingway & Gellhorn, with the ceremony taking place tomorrow morning (Melbourne time) in Los Angeles.
”It’s particularly great to be acknowledged with such a fine group of actresses,” Kidman said.
”Another thing is it’s an acknowledgement of the production. We received so many Emmy nominations for Hemingway & Gellhorn, I think it was 15 – that’s an acknowledgement of the whole show,” she said.
In her category for outstanding lead actress in a miniseries or movie, the other nominees are Julianne Moore, who is the favourite for playing Sarah Palin in Game Change, Emma Thompson, Ashley Judd and Connie Britton.
