Nicole’s husband Keith Urban has released his own men’s cologne, and in a new interview promoting it, he of course mentioned that Nic has smelt it! What does she think?
Urban’s father hasn’t smelled Phoenix yet, but his wife has.
And she likes it? “She does. Certainly that was my first point of reference.”

Nicole talks about her good friend Wendi Deng in the new October issue of British Vogue, and below are some excerpts of Nicole’s quotes:
THEY are two of the most successful women in the world but it was loneliness that brought the actress Nicole Kidman and the businesswoman Wendi Deng together.
Kidman has revealed the depth of their friendship, which began after Deng married the media magnate Rupert Murdoch in 1999. Two years after that marriage, Kidman divorced her husband, Tom Cruise.
”I think we were both lonely and kind of isolated – Wendi in this big new powerful world, and it was a time in my life where I was very exposed,” Kidman tells the October edition of British Vogue, which features an extensive profile of Deng.
”We just clicked. We understood each other. I sort of had a feeling for the psychology of Wendi.”
While Kidman was raised on the north shore and Deng grew up in a poor area of China, the actress said their views were remarkably similar.

Entertainment Weekly have a first look at some of Hollywood’s most exciting upcoming projects, and they have included Hemingway & Gelhorn! There is a small blurb about the characters’ relationship (read that below), plus a brand new photo which is our first official still look at the movie! I’m sure you’ll agree that Nicole looks beautiful, and she and Clive Owen look like they will be brilliant together in this.
IMDB is currently listing Hemingway & Gelhorn‘s air date as May 2012.

Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman Channel Hemingway and Gellhorn
Kidman plays Martha Gellhorn, a celebrated war correspondent and the third wife of Ernest Hemingway (Owen), in HBO Films’ Hemingway & Gellhorn (out next year). The story trails their passionate, often rocky relationship during the Spanish Civil War and beyond. ”Even though Hemingway is synonymous with manly virtue, she outdid him in many ways,” says director Philip Kaufman. ”Her boldness and fearlessness were way ahead of their times.” — Archana Ram

Actress Olivia Wilde is shooting a documentary about women living and working in Kenya’s most impoverished areas.

The actress also met with women working at the Jamii Bora organisation, which seeks to eliminate poverty through microfinancing, and admits she was inspired by the visit.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, “Spent the day in Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya, with the strong women of the Jamii Bora micro financing org. My mind is officially blown.”
Actresses Diane Lane, America Ferrera and Nicole Kidman are also filming installments for the Half the Sky documentary.

Scott Free Productions, Fox Searchlight Pictures and Indian Paintbrush announced today that principal photography for the psychological thriller STOKER has begun in Nashville, Tennessee. The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Oscar ® winner Nicole Kidman with Dermot Mulroney and Oscar® nominee Jacki Weaver.
In his first English language film, celebrated Korean director Park Chan-wook (OLDBOY, THIRST) will direct from an original screenplay by the former PRISON BREAK star Wentworth Miller, who wrote his inaugural script under the pseudonym Ted Foulke. STOKER is being produced by Scott Free Productions’ Tony Scott, Ridley Scott and Michael Costigan with Steven Rales and Mark Roybal of Indian Paintbrush serving as executive producers. Indian Paintbrush is co-financing the film with Fox Searchlight Pictures who will be releasing the film worldwide.

Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
