Plenty has been written about how James Franco is Hollywood’s Renaissance man.

The 33-year-old Oscar-nominated actor from Palo Alto, near San Francisco, also directs films, writes books and poetry, stages multi-media art exhibitions, lectures at two colleges, is a student at Yale, New York University and Rhode Island School of Design, sings, models, co-hosted a little event in February called the Oscars and is heavily involved in charity work.

But, as they say in TV infomercials, that’s not all.

Franco, it is revealed, has another talent.

The guy can keep a secret.

“Her email is … no I won’t give it up,” he teases during an interview to promote his new medieval comedy, Your Highness.

The “her” is Nicole Kidman and Franco says he has been enjoying an ongoing email conversation with the Australian actress as they contemplate starring next year together in a Broadway production of Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth.

“She’s an incredibly sweet, charming lady and I have got to know her a little bit this year,” Franco, smiling, says.

While Franco will not cough up Kidman’s email address, he teases a little more, offering that the address is not what most people would probably expect.

“I have to say her email address is charmingly juvenile,” Franco says.

“I’ll say that.

“You wouldn’t expect Nicole Kidman to have this email address.”
