According to the San Francisco Gate, HBO’s Hemingway & Gellhorn, starring Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen, will begin a three-month shoot on Feb. 28 in San Francisco.

The highly anticipated (at least by me) movie, which chronicles the short-lived marriage between Ernest Hemingway and Martha Gellhorn, has built studios at Pier 80.

Extras casting for the movie is being handled by Beau Bonneau Casting. They are currently looking for Spanish and Spanish-looking Men and Women for a scene (likely set in Cuba) that will be shoot over 9 weekdays (3/9 – 3/21) in Oakland. Background roles include: Soldiers, Residents, Workers, Press types, etc. Extras must be approved from photos by the Director and attend a paid wardrobe fitting sometime mid to late February in SF. To learn more about the requirements for this shoot and how to register to be an extra, visit http://beaubonneaucasting.com/.
