Welcome to Nicole's Magic, a fansite for the spectacular spectacular Academy Award winning Australian actress Nicole Kidman. Nicole is one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation, and is known for her roles in Moulin Rouge, The Hours and To Die For, and has recently been seen in the controversial thrillers Stoker and The Paperboy.

Nicole's Magic is the largest and most comprehensive fansite for Nicole, and is dedicated to supporting her and her career. As of March 2013, Nicole's Magic is entering a new phase of its fansite life, now focussing on paying tribute to Nicole's career up to and including 2006. The Golden Globe Awards – Full Coverage Update #1

Having picked my jaw up off the floor after the new baby news, I have our first Golden Globe coverage update for you!

As expected, Nicole did not win in her category for Best Actress, Drama. The award went to Natalie Portman. However, I think it is so fantastic that Nicole and Rabbit Hole have been recognised and praised so much by critics that this awards season run can be seen as nothing but a win! Even if she didn’t carry home a trophy, the success of the film is just as good in itself. I think we’re all extremely proud of Nicole and happy for her and the cast and crew.

So onto our coverage, and to start with I have added 60+ HQs from the red carpet! Nicole looked stunning in a sequinned cream dress by Prada, with Pierre Hardy shoes, a Roger Vivier clutch bag and Fred Leighton jewellry. Keith was also wearing Prada.

Further down this post you will find a video from the Best Actress, Drama presentation, in which we have a quick shot of Nicole as presenter Jeff Bridges reads through the nominees.

I haven’t been able to update as much as planned today, so check back tomorrow for Globes update #2 – still to come are many more photos, screencaps and videos from the red carpet and show, tidbits and probably some other stuff too. For now, enjoy the HQs!
