Here we go with the first big update full of coverage from last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards! Most importantly (and unfortunately), Nicole did not win the Oustanding Lead Actress award, with the statue predictably going to Black Swan star Natalie Portman. As I said after the Golden Globes though, the fact that Rabbit Hole and Nicole have been embraced so positively since September is such an incredible thing, that everything is a win – nothing is a loss.

So, today I’ve uploaded over 100 HQ photos from the event last night! I can’t decide whether I love this look or not – what do you think? Regardless of that, there are some fantastic shots in there, and again Nic seems to be really enjoying the experience! As I said last night, she’s wearing a dress by Nina Ricci, with jewels by Fred Leighton. There are lots more photos – including some great audience shots – to come asap as well. Thank go to Marica for a few of these HQs.

Secondly, scroll further down this post for a batch of videos from the night, including her interview with E! live on the red carpet, in which she talked about the new addition to the Kidman-Urban family. Keith also showed off some photos on his iPhone of her, which you can read about in the posts below this one, and SEE in a couple of the videos below. The Kidman-Urbans obviously like showing off their daughters on iPhone’s, as Nicole did the same thing at the Capitol Records Nashville Post-ACM Party back in 2009, after Sunday was born!

Get browsing, and enjoy all this wonderful new award show-goodness! It’s all such a treat. And check back tomorrow for more, including additional photos, tidbits from the show, screencaps from the videos, and more!! Enjoy :D

The Screen Actors Guild Awards – High Quality x111

Nic and Keith spoke to reporters about their new baby Faith Margaret at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night! Here are the quotes:

KEITH Urban says his new baby daughter Faith Margaret looks just like her mum Nicole Kidman.

Urban and Kidman showed off a photo of Faith Margaret to reporters and revealed details behind her name while on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

“She just looks like her don’t you think?” a proud Urban, showing a photo of Faith and Kidman on his iPhone, told reporters.

Faith Margaret – named because the couple “had to have that (faith) through the whole pregnancy” and after Kidman’s grandmother Margaret – was born five weeks ago via surrogate at a Nashville hospital.

Urban and Kidman are the biological parents.

“… people just call her Faith, but she’s actually Faith Margaret, that southern double name,” Kidman said.

And she’s there! Nicole has arrived on the red carpet, and has just spoken to E! She’s wearing a black and gold Nina Ricci dress with a lace back, accessorised with Fred Leighton jewels, and red hair up in a bun. Very stunning! Guiliana Rancic on E! of course asked Nic about Faith, and from what I heard, Nic said they just wanted to keep her a secret because it was their thing. On the name, she confirmed what we’d already heard, that Faith comes from the faith she and Keith had about having another baby, and Margaret is from her grandmother.

Below are a couple of screencaps I quickly made from E!’s Live Stream online, that should give you an idea of Nic’s look! Check back tomorrow for the start of our full coverage, including proper photos, videos, and of course, news on whether she won or not ;)

And on that note, GOOD LUCK Nicole! Let’s hope she can pull of a well deserved win as Best Actress tonight.

EDIT: I’ve added the first few proper photos from the red carpet below for you! You can also keep track of the winners as they’re announced throughout the night here. Let’s hope we’ll be seeing Nicole’s name in that list ;)

EDIT #2: Wonder where Nicole’s sitting inside? Next to Jeremy Renner, according to this seating photo from before the event! Also, you can try watching a LIVE STREAM of the show in two places online now – and Thanks Mari & Lisa!

Thanks to our forum member ‘thehours_fan’ for the heads-up about this! SO exciting! Nicole and James Franco will be incredible on stage together, I can just tell.

James Franco Confirms Broadway Debut in SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH with Nicole Kidman!

James Franco, will co-host the 2011 Oscars has confirmed to MTV news that he will co-star with Oscar winner Nicole Kidman in the upcoming Broadway revival of SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, according to Franco says that he will appear appear as Chance Wayne, in the Fall 2011 production, which will be directed by David Cromer.

Franco can currently can be seen in “127 Hours”, for which he received an Oscar nomination this year as well. His other film credits include “Eat, Love, Pray,” “Date Night,” “Milk” and “Pineapple Express.” Franco is also known for his portrayals of Harry Osborn in the “Spider-Man” trilogy.

The Orlando Sentinel website have recently posted two fantastic interviews with Nicole, both of which I’m posting below. In the first one she talks a bit about how The Danish Girl is progressing, and this enlightens us as to why it’s taking so long to get made – and may take a bit longer!

Kidman on ‘The Danish Girl,’ and ‘My life’ in country music.

Here’s “Rabbit Hole” director John Cameron Mitchell’s take on Nicole Kidman, where she is in her life and how that helped him in his film with her, a movie based on David Lindsay-Abaire’s play about parents coping with grief (or the lack of it) over the death of their young son.

“She’s 43. She has a new child. She’s in a happy relationship, with her feet firmly on the ground. And that gives her room for a rawer and more unadorned performance than we’ve seen from her before.”

Kidman says she went to dark places in this performance that many actresses fear.

“I didn’t want to shy away from her anger and her reasons for her anger. I had to exist in that place for a time and I knew it was going to be really painful. But I wanted to go there because of the people who are, in real life, going through this. I wanted to put myself into their shoes, even though I was only acting, just to do justice to it.

Aaron Eckhart recently spoke to Vanity Fair, and talked a lot about Rabbit Hole:

Q&A: Aaron Eckhart: “I’m Not Happy with My Career”

Krista Smith: So in Rabbit Hole, with all the heavy emotions, we got a little bit of Aaron Eckhart without his shirt on.

Aaron Eckhart: Oh boy.

By the way, I forgot you’re a beefcake when you want to be.

Oh my goodness.

This role did not require it.

Aw, hideous! Hideous. It’s funny, because apparently there is a Web site of—I’m sure this is with all actors—they have a Web site of [me with my] shirt off. It’s just beastly. Anyway.

You did all right.

Let’s get to more important things.

With Rabbit Hole—how did it make its way to you?

It’s unclear whether my agent called me or Nicole [Kidman] called me out of the blue, but somehow I got the message that Nicole wanted to talk to me. And whenever that happens, I always get a little worried. Like, what did I do? So she called me up and said, “Listen, I’ve got this movie I’m producing, I’m passionate about it, would you please read it?” I read it and I thought, This is too good to be true. … I felt like [this could] be a crowning achievement in my career, because I knew that she was going to be so good in the movie.
