Nicole appeared on ‘Conan’ last night, and I have coverage for you now! It was a great interview, and Nicole was as sweet and funny as always. I’ve written a little recap of what they talked about below, so give that a read if you’re interested. Nicole looked really gorgeous in a black lacy Prada dress, black tights, and her long red hair down.

She started off by joking they could be brother and sister, or she would look like him as a boy! They talked about the Oprah Australian special, and how it coincided with their trip back to Australia, because they’re not going for actual Christmas. Then they talked about Australian Christmas traditions, with Nicole saying they didn’t really have any besides eating and then swimming! She mentioned a traditional plum pudding that you used to put coins in, but you’re not allowed to do that anymore because you could choke. She also debunked the popular myth that all Aussies say ‘G’day’! She added that Australian’s call red-heads ‘bluey’s, although she doesn’t know why! The topic then changed to Simon Baker, and Nicole said she was very good friends with him and his wife (Rebecca Rigg), and she’s known Rebecca since they went to school together at the age of 11. Nicole was very embarrassed when Conan showed a clip of her and Keith singing to Simon at the G’Day USA event earlier this year! Conan then asked her about Nashville, and she said they have Alpaca’s there and she likes them because they’re “so pretty” and have long lashes. She’s always wanted a mix of weird animals, but Alpaca’s are the weirdest they have! She wants more exotic amimals, especially snakes … but not around the baby. And then they discussed Rabbit Hole, with Conan expressing his admiration for it, and Nicole saying she describes it as a “small film with epic emotion”.
