Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman calls Yvonne her “sister” at an Omega event in Beijing, where the two are spokespersons for the watch brand.

MediaCorp actress Yvonne Lim and International movie star Nicole Kidman are now “sisters”!

Both Yvonne and Nicole made a special appearance in an Omega event in Beijing as the watch brand’s spokespersons, in which the latter called Yvonne her “sister”.

During an exclusive interview with xinmsn earlier this week, Yvonne exclaimed at how excited she was to see her idol and joked at how she wanted to be the Asian version of the star.

The 34-year-old actress was like a star-struck fan when she talked about Nicole.

“She is really amicable! To me, her elegance and poise make her a true fashion icon of our era.”

Yvonne’s favourite films of Nicole’s include Moulin Rouge and The Hours. She calls her idol the only Hollywood actress that exudes the aura of a timeless star.

This is the third year Yvonne is named the Singapore spokesperson for Omega, and marks her first time meeting Nicole.

When asked about the international superstar’s influence on the local actress, Yvonne candidly explained that she’d love to be looked upon as the Asian version of Nicole although she isn’t that tall!

On a more serious note, she really admired Nicole’s versatility and ability to play out different roles so well and hoped to be just like her someday.
