If Nicole Kidman had the chance to live her life again she’d be a director.

The Hours star admits she’s “very thrilled” to be an actress, but she’d have preferred to be a filmmaker.

She tells The Hollywood Reporter, “I’d choose to be a director.

“I think to be a director you have to have a camera in your hand and you’ve got to be looking at the world in a particular way. I didn’t have that upbringing.”
