She’s enjoyed a long and celebrated career, even winning an Oscar for 2002′s The Hours. But now Nicole Kidman is focused more on making time for family with Keith Urban and daughter Sunday Rose.
She and her country singer husband try not to spend more than three days apart at a time, Kidman said this week while on a trip to Hong Kong, according to the Associated Press. “I think I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve slowed down a lot, so it’s not difficult,” she said. “My priority is very much keeping my family together and not being away from them.”
Kidman, 42, has been in family mode ever since the birth of Sunday Rose in July 2008. “She’s never been happier and healthier,” a family friend said at the time. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”
But the actress hasn’t totally given up on Hollywood.
In recent weeks she’s been filming the romantic comedy Just Go With It in Hawaii with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.
She also answered phones last Sunday during a star-studded telethon to help Nashville recover from the recent massive flooding.

Nicole Kidman arrived in Hong Kong May 19 on a private jet to have dinner with Hong Kong’s celebs, who each shelled out HK$100,000 for the occasion.
Kidman will kick off her appearance in Hong Kong with the opening of the new Omega boutique at Manning House in Central, this afternoon. Her husband Keith Urban will then join her at “A Night with the Stars,” a charity gala presented by Omega this evening at the Four Seasons Hotel. Proceeds from the dinner, which costs HK$100 thousand per table, will go to the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) programme, of which Kidman is the Goodwill Ambassador.
About 200 guests will attend the dinner including Hong Kong’s own Omega Ambassadors Simon Yam and Qi Qi. To express Kidman’s gratitude to the guests supporting UNIFEM, she will invite Keith to perform a private concert at the dinner.

United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM)’s Goodwill Ambassador Nicole Kidman raised more than US$175,000 today for programmes to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in China. Attended by more than 200 guests, the charity fundraiser took place during her first visit to Hong Kong, and was organized in cooperation with the luxury watch manufacturer OMEGA. The event also featured a private concert by Nicole Kidman’s husband, Grammy Award–winning singer Keith Urban.
“I feel passionately about support for UNIFEM because the work to empower women and advance their human rights is so important,” said Nicole Kidman. “Together with OMEGA we are in Hong Kong to raise awareness and also vital funding for UNIFEM’s projects in China.”
“This Hong Kong benefit for UNIFEM highlights what we can do together to build support for effective programmes that help women live free from violence and realize their rights,” said Joan Libby-Hawk, Public Affairs Chief, UNIFEM. “Together we can show what an impact a global community can make.”

Nicole Kidman says she and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, try to never spend more than three days apart in an effort to maintain a loving marriage.
The Oscar winner, whose marriage to Tom Cruise ended in divorce, told reporters in Hong Kong on Thursday that her focus has shifted from career to family. She and Urban have a 1-year-old daughter.
Kidman said: “I think I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve slowed down a lot, so it’s not difficult. My priority is very much keeping my family together and not being away from them.”
The Australian actress was in Hong Kong to open a luxury watch store and attend a fundraising banquet for the U.N. Development Fund for Women.

Hello fellow Nicole fans! I’m just dropping in to give you a bit of a site update. Updates here have been slow recently because I have been swamped with University work, and will continue to be so for the next few weeks. So updates will continue to be slow/non-existent for the next few weeks. After that I will be working to catch up on all the latest photos (from the Just Go With It set and the ACM Awards photos from a while back). It will also be close to Nicole’s birthday, so I’m hoping to get some nice updates in for that
As for the Movie Of The Month – I’m so sorry for the delay with May’s! I simply haven’t had the time, or the brain power, to sit down and write it up. I will try and get it up this coming week though, and keep it up for 4 weeks. The June MOTM will then run into July and I guess be a June/July MOTM. MOTM’s should be back on track by August though, and be up around the 1st of each month from then.
For now though, I’ve added 3 new photoshoot pictures – 2 additional ones from the recent Ladies Home Journal photoshoot, and a second one from an unknown shoot taken last year at the time of promoting Nine. Thanks to my friend Roberta for these!

JENNIFER ANISTON’s on-screen friendship with NICOLE KIDMAN for new comedy JUST GO WITH IT has transferred into real life – the former FRIENDS actress has hailed her co-star’s “hilarious” sense of humour.
The pair teamed up for the new Adam Sandler film, which sees the Oscar-winning Aussie play best pal to Aniston’s character.
The new friends have spent time together in between shooting in Hawaii – and Aniston can’t believe the Moulin Rouge! actress doesn’t take on more comedic roles.
She says, “I don’t know why that beautiful woman doesn’t do more comedies. She is absolutely hilarious.
“She’s the easiest person to hang around, and fun and funny.”
