Nicole Kidman will exercise her comedy chops in “Just Go With It,” Columbia’s romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
Sports Illustrated cover model Brooklyn Decker also has joined the cast of the movie, which is due to go before cameras in March in Los Angeles.
Originally titled “Pretend Wife,” the story sees Sandler recruiting Aniston to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife and her kids as his fake family in order to land the girl of his dreams.
Kidman’s role is under wraps but is rumored to be cameo in nature. Decker plays Sandler’s dream girl.

Nicole has been linked to a new project … prepare yourself though, as this is not a typical Nicole Kidman film! Thanks so much to Marta for all of this info.
In a recent interview, Adam Sandler mentioned Nicole would be starring in his new movie, currently titled ‘Pretend Wife‘.
Recently, Adam Sandler appeared on the Dan Patrick show to discuss his upcoming movie “Grown Ups”, due out in June. During the interview, Sandler mentions Dan Patrick is also going to make a guest appearance in the movie. Sandler states that Patrick is the band leader in his scene and they had the following exchange:
Dan Patrick: So I’m in with Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston…
Adam Sandler: Yeah, yeah… and Dave Matthews.
Further information comes from Wikipedia, with a synopsis, cast list and crew and filming details:
A plastic surgeon (Adam Sandler), who is afraid of commitment, tells his much younger girlfriend that he’s married, with children. When she threatens to leave him, he asks a woman (Jennifer Aniston) and her children to pose as his family for a trip to Hawaii in order to prove his honesty.
* Adam Sandler as Patrick
* Jennifer Aniston as Palmer
* Nicole Kidman as Rea Ann Devlin
* Nick Swardson as Eddie Simms
* Bailee Madison as Maggie
* Dave Matthews
* Dan Patrick
Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling wrote the script and Dennis Dugan, who has collaborated with Sandler on most of his films, will direct. The film will be produced under Sandler’s production company Happy Madison and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. It will be shot between Los Angeles and Hawaii on the islands of Maui and Kauai and filming will commence in March of 2010 for a release date of February 11, 2011.
Further mention of Nicole’s involvement comes from young actress Bailee Madison who says she is working on the film with Nicole.
Speculation has arisen as to whether Nicole will be a main character, or whether she will simply feature in a cameo in the same scene as Dan Patrick, who, as the first quote above states, is making a guest appearance in a scene.
I’ll keep you posted on this! Don’t hesitate to leave your comments on this – I know this choice of movie is controversial for Nicole fans!
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are to fund a school in Haiti.
The Oscar-winning actress and the country singer – who have a 19-month-old daughter Sunday Rose – are keen to help the earthquake-stricken nation by giving money to an education facility.
Urban said: “We’re actually going to be funding a school down there for the next 5 years.”
As well as providing an education, the school will also help provide the children with basic medical needs.
Urban added to radio station CatCountry 96: “It’s in Port-Au-Prince. The kids will also have one hot meal a day. They’ll have all of their medical taken care of by the school, and clothing, as well.”
The couple will be working with Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis and the Artists for Peace and Justice organization on the project.
Kidman and Urban are not the first stars to help Haiti, which was hit by 2 devastating earthquakes last month.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney have all donated vast sums of money, as have John Mayer and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Thanks to ‘skanky’ from our forum for alerting me to some new Rabbit Hole material – the film’s international distribution company, Affinity International, has created a page for Rabbit Hole on it’s official site. There’s nothing much there at the moment except for a synopsis and basic cast and crew info, but it does have the very first poster for the film:
Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart star in this poignant drama from acclaimed director, John Cameron Mitchell. Becca and howie Corbett are a happily married couple whose perfect world is forever changed when their young son is taken from them in a tragic car accident. As Becca redefines her places among friends & family, she finds solace in a mysterious relationship with the young driver of the car that killed her son. Sundance-Award-winning and Golden-Globe-nominated director John Cameron Mitchell brings to the screen an emotionally taut adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer prize-winning drama RABBIT HOLE, an intimate, and often darkly humorous exploration of love tested by tragedy.
And in a recent interview, Aaron Eckhart was very complimentary towards Nicole:
“She’s the reason I did the movie, I think she’s ultra-talented. She’s challenging and diverse and she cares about the material. I was very, very impressed with her.”
Second update today, and this is an even better one I’ve added exclusive, high quality scans from the new issue of Vogue Italia that Nicole is featured in! I want to say a really big thank you to Francesca for these fantastic scans, and an equally big thank you to Martina who also contributed scans – I really appreciate your generosity and kindness and I know all other Nicole fans visiting this site will also appreciate it! Thanks also to Giulio for offering scans (I love Nicole’s Italian fans, they’re so kind!! :p )
These Vogue Italia photos are stunning – Nicole looks amazing with the short dark tousled hair, and they actually remind me of a couple of her 90′s photoshoots.
These scans were made exclusively for Nicole’s Magic, so kindly do not re-post them elsewhere, please.
A couple of other tidbits – Asamin alerted me that there will be a big premiere for Nine in Japan at the beginning of March (the film is released there March 19th). I don’t know whether Nicole will be attending, but keep an eye out for pictures here if she does!
And another lot of thanks goes to Anna and Dorothy for their lovely feedback on the site – really appreciate it!!

Hello my fellow Nicole fans! I have a small, but rare treat for you today – I’ve added out-takes from two photoshoots thanks to my friend Annika! They do have a slight watermark on them, but these photos are rare so I’m grateful to have them in any format The first batch are from Nicole’s 2006 shoot for Vogue – most of these were seen in the magazine itself, but the last 4 are previously unseen/the last one is the cover shot without the cover text. And the 2nd batch is from the Vanity Fair 2002 shoot – one of my favourite photoshoots – and all of these additions are previously unseen.
I will add the new Italian Vogue scans tomorrow!! Post a comment to remind me, hehe

How do you avoid charges of sensationalism if you set out to make a movie about the world’s first sex-change operation?
The simple answer is that you aim high. You set out to deliver a serious story and a quality product free of lurid tabloid exploitation.
It also helps to attach some big-name talent to the enterprise. People like Oscar-winning actresses Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow and director Lasse Hallstrom.
Hallstrom says that, if all goes well, shooting on The Danish Girl will begin in May in Europe, and he couldn’t be more enthusiastic about a project that’s already generating controversy, and which will test the talents of all concerned. But the 63-year-old filmmaker isn’t worried.
“It’s the story of the first man who ever did a sex change: a Danish painter. Nicole is playing the man who turns into a woman, so that will be fun.”
