Nicole has attended a couple of small events in this past week, and I’ll add photos from them in the next couple of days.
Today, I have added my personal photos taken at the London premiere of Australia on 2008! As you will notice from these and my other photos, I’m not the best photographer lol, and it’s hard to get good photos. As you can imagine, it’s a bit crazy when Nicole is around! However, it’s pretty great to have these photos This premiere was shown on a big screen, so many of my photos were of that, but you can also see some shots of Nicole on the stage talking to a TV presenter. I don’t know why it’s taken me a year to add them, but they’re up now!

Nicole Kidman has insisted that she and husband Keith Urban will not perform together again, reports claim. The pair unveiled an unexpected duet, shocking an audience in LA last week, according to Showbiz Spy.
“We decided to do that little turn for our friend Simon Baker,” Kidman revealed.
The 42-year-old has already shown her singing talents in movies Moulin Rouge and Nine.
She added: “We worked on it for about a week at home in the evenings. It was our first collaboration and probably our last. If we’re just at home and you’re playing music and hanging out then I’m fine. If it’s professional then I get nervous. I need to be loosened up.”

Award-winning director and screenwriter Paul Haggis – straight off a flight from Haiti – hosted the Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) Haiti relief brunch this morning (Sun 24th Jan). At his home, Haggis and friends raised four million dollars for Haiti through APJ, the charity he founded in 2009. The brunch had two purposes: first, to get emergency relief to the children of Haiti and second, to raise money for long-term relief so that Haiti will not once again be forgotten as soon is it is out of the news. One hundred friends and supporters of APJ pledged to support the disaster-stricken nation over the next five to ten years, committing funds to building and funding schools, in a country where most children don’t have access to basic education. Guests included APJ advisory board members, Josh Brolin, Maria Bello, Olivia Wilde, Charlize Theron, Jimmy-Jean Louis and Madeleine Stowe. Moby, Sheryl Crow, Macy Gray and Jackson Browne each gave live performances. Over the past year, APJ has been working with doctor and community organizer Father Rick Frechette who has been making real change in the lives of the people of the slums of Port-Au-Prince for over 22 years, long before this most recent disaster struck. Frechette and his team are working night and day in their beautiful paediatric hospital, St. Damiens, perhaps the only hospital that escaped major damage. They are providing medical supplies, tents, beds, food and water to earthquake survivors. Haggis and his wife personally pay all the expenses and overhead of APJ, so that every penny raised will go directly to the relief efforts and long-term reconstruction of the people of the slums of Haiti.

Photos of Nicole at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards have been added! According to the official SAG Awards Twitter Nicole was running late, which might explain why she (sadly) missed the red carpet again. However, once she did turn up, we saw her looking stunning in a hippie-esque Oscar De La Renta gown with Fred Leighton jewellry and curly red hair! This was a different look for Nicole, but she pulled it off and was definitely one of the stand-out gowns of the night!
Towards the end of the ceremony, Nic and her Nine co-stars Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson & Marion Cotillard took to the stage to introduce their film as a nominee for the Best Ensemble category – this was a pretty wonderful moment, seeing all 4 of them – looking stunning – on stage together!! Daniel Day Lewis and Sophia Loren were also in attendance. Unfortunately Nine did not win the Best Ensemble award – it went to Inglourious Basterds – nor did it win in any of it’s other categories. Another moment worth mentioning was the announcement of Best Supporting Actress, in which the camera showed nominee Penelope Cruz waiting backstage, and Nicole, Kate & Marion teased her by making ‘bunny ears’ behind her!! Stay tuned for a video soon.
So there’s a round-up of the show for those that didn’t see it! Onto photos, and there aren’t many because Nic showed up late, but we do have 26 gorgeous HQs for you! These include some really lovely shots of Nic posing backstage with Keith, Penelope, Kate & Marion <33

The celebrities have walked the red carpet and the show has started, but I haven’t Nic yet! The award show’s Twitter, @SAGAwards, tweeted a while ago that Nicole was running late and that she was just about to arrive. Stay tuned here at Nicole’s Magic for the first photos from the awards, and coverage will continue tomorrow.
