As you can see, we have a brand new NINE themed layout!! This stunning design was created for us by Marica, and was intended to go up last week in time for the general release of the movie, but due to Christmas etc. it got delayed a bit. But it’s up now! I wanted something to promote Nine and give a real feel for the film, and I think Marica has come up with something suitably gorgeous for the film and the ‘goddess’ like Claudia (as Rob Marshall calls her!).
I hope you love the layout as much as I do, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment on it here!! If you notice any errors anywhere within the site then again just post a comment or let me know somehow

Not only will musical “Nine” serve up some song and dance for audiences as it’s released in the last weeks of December, but there may be a message for Hollywood to be had about women’s acting roles.
In the forthcoming film, Nicole Kidman plays Claudia, the frequent leading lady in films by director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis). The two share a poignant moment, when the floundering director struggles to describe Claudia’s ambiguous role as a series of muses in a great Italian man’s life. It’s a premise that mirror’s Guido’s own creative situation and dilemm.
“So I am the women behind the great man?” Kidman’s Claudia asks. “I’d rather be the man.”

Nicole Kidman sings and shimmies her way through one glamorous number in the musical Nine, now in theaters.
Next up, she’s going the very, very unladylike route. Quite literally.
She hopes her next movie will be the drama The Danish Girl, starring Kidman as a post-op transsexual, married to Gwyneth Paltrow. “We’re in the process of putting that together. If that story comes together, I will definitely make that story. It’s an unusual story and it’s a love story that needs to be told,” Kidman tells USA TODAY.
Not that Kidman is in any mad rush to get back on a film set. She’s content being at home in Nashville with her husband Keith Urban and their daughter Sunday Rose, 1. “I’m really low-key there. They always get shots of me coming out of baby group, with my baby. It’s a pretty simple life. The town’s very protective of us. I’m very grateful for that,” she says.

NICOLE KIDMAN and Keith Urban have celebrated Christmas by taking daughter Sunday Rose to Mass in Sydney.
Kidman, Urban and their daughter were dropped off at St Francis Xavier Church, Lavender Bay, just before the 5.30pm children’s Mass on Christmas Eve.
They took their places in their crowded church before Urban took 18-month-old Sunday Rose to the front of the church, where she sat among dozens of other children who traditionally sit around the altar, dressed as shepherds and angels.

NICOLE Kidman put her ego to one side for her role in the musical movie Nine — because she was glad to work with its all star cast.
The Aussie actress appears alongside A-listers including Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Dame Judi Dench and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas in the upcoming movie.
“It was interesting being around this cast,” Kidman told Canadian newspaper the National Post.
“We always have people ask us about the egos, but if you love what you do, you’re just so glad to be around other people who love what they do, too, so you sacrifice. And that was the case with us.”
Kidman, 42, then recalled her first day on the London set of the movie.

20th Century Fox’s 3-D event film “Avatar” led the box office with a studio-estimated $75-million take in the U.S. and Canada.
Its minuscule drop of just 3% from last weekend’s opening is a sign of extremely strong word of mouth and is continuing to fuel industry buzz that it could end up as one of the highest-grossing movies of all time, alongside “Avatar” director James Cameron’s “Titanic.” That would easily justify the massive $430 million that Fox and its financing partners invested in production and marketing.
“Avatar” has grossed $212.3 million domestically in just 10 days. As with other pictures, international grosses weren’t available yet early this morning.
