Australian actress Nicole Kidman has been named as the narrator of a feature-length documentary about the live of Holocaust survivor and Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal.
Wiesenthal, who died in September aged 96, survived five Nazi concentration camps and seven other prisons to devote his life to tracking down suspected Nazi war criminals.
He had lost 89 relatives during the war, subsequently becoming a voice for the six million Jews who died as victims of Hitler’s Final Solution.
The Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center has started production on the film which will feature interviews with Wiesenthal associates, government leaders, friends and family members.
